Mountain Trike

Manual Off-Road Wheelchairs

I have no experience of any of these manual off-road wheelchairs because my spinal injury, especially to the discs at L4/L5, mean that any manual wheelchair worsens my pain.

Please be very careful to choose mobility equipment that suits you and your condition, or those in your care if choosing for them. Choosing mobility equipment is your responsibility, products on Rambling On Wheels are only there for interest or consideration not recommendation. With all mobility equipment there is an element of risk of injury, which is increased with off-road use.

Mountain Trike

The Mountain Trike is their flagship Trike - all-terrain, self-propelled, sleek, versatile and available in any colour.
Suitable for a muddy woodland trail, a trip to the shops, a walk in the park and for the more adventurous, it has even been used to climb the odd mountain or two! The unique lever drive system allows the rider to have clean, dry hands whatever the weather. If at any point your circumstances change and you find it difficult to self-propel it is possible to convert the Mountain Trike to a manual MT Push or to an eTrike, which is powered.
Mountain Trike £4595

Also MT Evo for users with limited hand function.
